I'm Quite the Hero

I almost got hit by a bus yesterday.

I went to the morning session of General Conference with The Canadian, and as we walked from the parking lot to the Conference Center, we saw some of our friends across the street. It was still safe to cross, so we ran out into the street to catch up. Just as we were almost across, a bus came zooming around the corner. For a split second, I stood there watching it come toward me thinking (I was thinking, not the bus), "Hey, that bus is going really fast." Then I came to my senses and jumped out of the way, pulling The Canadian with me. (Ok, so he was already jumping out of the way before I grabbed him. But hey--I helped.)
